Kasey Kahne marked a quiet family milestone this week as his daughter Ana Danielle turned three. The former NASCAR Cup Series driver shared a heartfelt message on social media and a carousel of photos with Ana and longtime partner, Amy Long.
Kahne’s Instagram post included pictures that captured family moments away from the racetracks, captioned:
Thanks for the submission!
“Happy 3rd birthday sweet Ana. You make every minute of every day brighter. We love you so much.”
Kasey Kahne has two children. His son, Tanner, was born in 2015 with his former partner, Sammy Sheets. Kahne has been with Long since 2020, and Ana was born in 2023. Her arrival marked another shift in his priorities after stepping back from full-time NASCAR competition in 2018.
Amy Long also added to the celebration with her own Instagram post. She shared a video of Ana’s clips and wrote:
“Happy birthday to my sweet baby! What a full year it’s been! Ana, you truly are the joy of my life. I love watching you brighten other’s days, share kindness and silliness everywhere you go!”
Family and friends dropped wishes in the comments. Even fellow racers and industry names joined in, including Mark Martin, who showed his love.
For Kahne, the offseason has become about slowing down. He continues to operate Kasey Kahne Racing and compete partly in High Limit sprint races. He will need to get back in action soon, with Brad Sweet not returning to his KKR High Limit Racing team.
Kasey Kahne enjoys offseason getaway with children as NASCAR talk continues

The birthday celebration arrived not long after the Kahne family slipped away for a winter break in Telluride. Kasey Kahne shared photos and videos of the snow-filled trip, with the kids sledding and tubing downhill and laughing their way through the cold.
“New snow over night made for a fun sled hill.”
It showed Kahne leaning fully into fatherhood, enjoying quiet stretches. The short getaway was also a reset before racing began.
Kahne’s name keeps surfacing in NASCAR chatter. With Ram connected to new Truck Series plans with Kaulig Racing, some fans have wondered whether Kahne could be one of the short-term options for the All-Star Truck. His single Xfinity appearance earlier this year at Rockingham reminded observers that he still has composure inside the car.
Right now, though, nothing concrete points to a comeback. Kahne remains focused on High Limit sprint racing and the day-to-day responsibilities of team ownership.
