Rather than the Fourth of July staple of fireworks, I thought a different sort of fireworks were in order, Dimash Qudaibergen singing Edith Paif’s Hymne à l’Amour. There was an apparent copyright issue with the official recording in June at the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival, with YouTube barring Dimash posting it on his channel.
I can get the production recording just fine here, but wonder if it may also be blocked in some regions. Those who encounter this problem and use VPNs might try with a location in Asia.
Oddly this fancam video passes muster with the YouTube police and has already garnered tons of reaction videos by vocal coaches and other Dimash fans. Needless to say, the sound is not as lush as in the festival’s recording. But I am sure you will enjoy it either way.
