He insulted the critic’s decision to pierce his ears in a different comment on the same thread.
“No pimp has 2 ear piercings!!!!! lol,” he commented.
Ron Harper is a five-time NBA champion who has played alongside greats like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. He won three rings with the Bulls and two rings with the Lakers.
His son Dylan Harper has carried over his legacy by pursuing a career in the NBA. He was drafted second in the 2025 draft and has proved his worth as a rotational player for the young Spurs squad in his rookie season. Ron Harper hyped up his son Dylan Harper after the Spurs rookie delivered a stunning 24-point performance in a 119-94 win over the Washington Wizards on Thursday.
The five-time NBA champion shared an Instagram reel on his X account on Saturday. The reel featured highlights of Dyaln Harper from the game.

The Spurs rookie finished the game with 24 points, five rebounds and three assists on 9 of 13 shooting from the field and 3 of 5 shooting from 3-point range. Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is on minutes restrictions after returning from a calf strain. This has given Harper more minutes on the court, which in turn has allowed the rookie to show more of his game and make a name for himself.
The Spurs (20-7) are in third place in the Western Conference standings. They are on a two-game winning streak after securing a win against the Hawks on Friday. They will face the Wizards on the road for a rematch on Sunday.
