Joy Taylor reveals troubling habit of “Black man” she dated via Raya

Joy Taylor opened up about her experience of dating a man she met on Raya. The former Fox Sports analyst talked about her dating life in Thursday’s episode of her “Too Personal” podcast. For this week’s episode, she was joined by Lexie Brown, and the two had a chat about dating apps.

Taylor asked Brown if she had tried dating apps and also shared a hilarious incident of her own. She recalled that she had once met a man on Raya, who she said was a “nice” guy. However, she was annoyed by one of his habits. She said that the man had a habit of tracking his calories during sex.

“I met a Black man on Raya. We dated for like four months,” Taylor said. “Yeah, he was really nice. So you know, this little tracker thing that tracks your calories. He kept it on during sex.

“So I couldn’t do it. I’m not a big ick person but I was like I ain’t doing this sh*t on during sex.”

In August, Joy Taylor appeared on the “Funky Friday” podcast and talked about her personal life. She said that she does not want to be in a public relationship, noting that she tried it before and it wasn’t a “good experience.” Taylor also talked about receiving DMs from celebrities on Instagram.

Joy Taylor opens up about having kids

In another episode of the “Too Personal” podcast from November, Joy Taylor talked about kids. She said that she would be a “terrible baby mama” and does not want to have kids.

“For some reason, there’s been this misconception put out on the street that I would be a good baby mama,” Taylor said. “This is incorrect. I want to clear the air on that I would be a terrible baby mama.”

Taylor said some men told her she should have kids, asking, “How are you going to let these genes go to waste?” Others said she should have a son to carry on her legacy, and some even asked who would take care of her when she gets older. She found these comments “very weird.”

Taylor added that if someone talked to her about marriage, building a home together, and then having kids, that would “make sense to her.

“What would be a rational statement to me is I would like to find a wife, build a home together, and then have a child,” she said. “Still not something I’m participating in, but at least I can respect the approach.”

Joy Taylor was previously married to basketball star Richard Giannotti. The couple tied the knot in 2016, but her marriage only lasted for a year before they parted ways in 2017. She then got engaged to Earl Watson in 2018, but they did not get married.
