Bold and the Beautiful dropped hints that Deacon Sharpe may finally crawl into Taylor Hayes‘ bed on the CBS soap. Deacon’s latest bout of problems started with Luna Nozawa‘s death, which was a fast-tracked event on B&B.
One minute the lunatic murderer was on the screen, and the next minute she was gone… dead. But mourning Luna’s death stirs up enough angst between Deacon and his wife to cause even more trouble in their marriage.
Deacon takes an opposite side from his eight-toed partner when it comes to their emotions over Luna’s demise. So, this likely sends Deacon into even more therapy with Taylor and then eventually into her bed.
Bold and the Beautiful: Deacon Sharpe Shuffles Through a Fog of His Own
Bold and the Beautiful had more characters showing up for the fog-soaked hunt for Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) than they would at a B&B wedding. Everyone felt compelled to rush to the beach house to find Luna wandering aimlessly in the marshes.
But as fate would have it, that night brought an abrupt end to the escaped convict.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) now shuffles through another kind of fog… his infatuation with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).
B&B: Missed Opportunities
Luna’s miscarriage came as a surprise since it certainly slammed the door shut for a treasure trove of future Bold and Beautiful storylines. But it looks like it took Luna’s death to pave the way for Deacon and Taylor to spend more time together.
You have to wonder why Bold and the Beautiful chose to end Luna’s reign without much drama. The soap didn’t even use it for a Friday cliffhanger. So maybe B&B plucked Luna out of the soap within a blink of the eye for another reason.
There didn’t seem to be much more to her death than the screeching of tires. That was followed by a quick blurb from Chief Baker (Dan Martin) announcing her death. But Luna Nozawa’s demise served another purpose.
It rattles Deacon and Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) marriage to the core. They’re polar opposites over how to feel about Luna dying. Today Deacon faces her death with a sigh of relief, and Sheila finds herself steeped deep in mourning.
Bold and the Beautiful: Deacon Sharpe Wrestles with Luna Nozawa Issues
Bold and the Beautiful gave Deacon Sharpe and Sheila Carter even more unwanted baggage for their marriage. Deacon has worked on his marriage in therapy with Taylor, and Sheila is thrilled that Deacon has come back to her.
But now Deacon seems pleased about Luna’s fate, while his wife, Sheila, is devastated over the loss of her granddaughter. So, it appears Bold and Beautiful has the wedge between them about to grow bigger.
B&B: Taylor Hayes Ripe for Romance
Taylor Hayes waits in the wings fantasizing about Deacon, so Bold and the Beautiful fans know she is ripe for some romance with her client. As Deacon and Sheila argue over their feelings about Luna’s death, it likely puts him back in Taylor’s office more frequently.
There he can work on his betrayal wounds once again. So, if Deacon leaps toward romance with Taylor, you might say Sheila pushed her husband into the good doctor’s bed.
Taylor spent a lot of time over the last few weeks on Bold and the Beautiful condemning Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) for her years of interfering in her relationship with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). So, it looks like the CBS soap is laying down the groundwork for Taylor to do the same thing to Sheila and Deacon.
It appears that Taylor Hayes and Deacon Sharpe might finally make a move on each other after all their fantasizing. But this relationship would likely breed danger, as this would put Sheila Carter as a scorned woman. Plus, at the very least, it will probably come with mixed feelings from their family and friends if they are exposed as a new couple on the CBS soap.
