Returning 6’4″ star to be the final member of Team CM Punk instead of Roman Reigns? Exploring WarGames possibility

This year’s Men’s WarGames Match will see Team CM Punk taking on Team Vision. Last week on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre joined the heel team, while Jimmy Uso aligned with the babyfaces. Both teams now have four members each, meaning one more participant will join each side soon to complete the lineup.

That said, The Scottish Warrior joining The Vision didn’t sit well with Nick Aldis, who had suspended McIntyre a week prior due to his actions. The Scotsman disrupted the main event bout between Cody Rhodes and Aleister Black by taking out the referee with a Claymore kick.

However, despite McIntyre being suspended, Paul Heyman found a way to include him in Team Vision, as the contract stated that he was free to choose anyone from any brand. Aldis was visibly upset with The Oracle overruling his decision and bringing McIntyre back. In an interesting possibility, this could lead to the SmackDown general manager joining Team CM Punk at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Many believe the last member of Team CM Punk would be Roman Reigns. However, the Triple H-led creative team has an opportunity to swerve fans by having The National Treasure lace up his wrestling boots once again.

The 6’4″ star has not participated in in-ring competition since signing with WWE. However, this potential scenario could mark his return to the squared circle. While the 39-year-old does an exceptional job at being an authority figure on the blue brand, he is also a highly decorated professional wrestler. Aldis has won championships across the globe before arriving at the global juggernaut.

That said, this scenario is only speculative at this point. Fans will have to wait and see how the lineup for the WarGames Match takes shape.

Team CM Punk to suffer a major betrayal before Survivor Series: WarGames?

Last week on SmackDown, Jimmy Uso confronted Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso backstage, announcing that he would be joining Team CM Punk against The Vision inside WarGames.

While Rhodes was delighted to hear that, Jey’s reaction told a different story. The YEET Master didn’t seem to like the idea of Big Jim aligning with the babyface team. Given that there have been issues between The Usos for months now, it wasn’t exactly surprising.

However, it could have an impact on Team CM Punk before Survivor Series: WarGames. A frustrated Jey Uso could turn on his twin and quit the team. This could open up a spot on the babyface side, allowing someone like John Cena to replace Jey.

That said, this is also speculation, and nothing has been confirmed.
