Francisco Lindor’s ten-year, $341 million contract with the New York Mets was expected to keep him in the Big Apple till at least the 2031 season. But with the Lindors officially purchasing a $21.2 million penthouse in the Upper East Side, they are committing to a longer stay in New York City.
Lindor’s news of the home purchase on 200 East 75th Street between Second and Third avenues was broken by Jennifer Gould of The New York Post on Monday. According to the Wall Street Journal, Lindor and his wife, Katia Reguro Lindor, took up the penthouse contract last year in December, nine months after the property was listed at $22.95 million.
The penthouse, which is part of 36 similar units that went under construction last year in the 18-story boutique condominium, spans 5.300 feet, consisting of six bathrooms with attached baths. It has arched windows and an 11-foot ceiling with a beautiful skyline view of the city landscape.

One of the bedrooms adjacent to the master bedroom can be combined to make a bigger primary suite, which has its own spa-like bathtub and marble floors. The penthouse opens into a large 39-foot living room with three arched windows, cornered with two rectangular windows facing each other. Other areas with arched window views include the library and the dining room.
The chef’s kitchen is connected to the custom banquet dining room via a bar area. The kitchen has an island breakfast bar area. One of the three terraces in the penthouse is attached to the kitchen, tailored for outdoor grilling and other forms of entertainment.
The building, designed by architecture firm Beyer Blinder Belle, includes a gym and a yoga room alongside a pet washing room and a children’s room, among other amenities. The interiors were reportedly done by Elizabeth Graziolo’s Yellow House Architects.
