Michael Kim reacted to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf’s heated altercation with a fan during a football game. In Week 16, the Steelers competed against the Detroit Lions. They have an impressive time on the field; however, what caught people’s attention was their wide receiver.
A video from the game was shared by ESPN senior NFL insider Adam Schefter on X (formerly Twitter) account in which Metcalf appeared to have punched a fan on the sidelines. The clip was shared by Benjamin Watson on his X account, and in the comments section, Michael Kim shared his opinion about the same. He wrote:
Thanks for the submission!
“Losers feel like they can say whatever they want when there’s clear boundaries and knows a player can’t touch them (just like social media) If they met on the street, 80% of these people would be asking for a photo for their social media. Act like adults. On both sides”
A fan in the comment section asked Michael Kim:
“Malice at the palace. Michael- fans are closer at golf events than any other sport. Why doesnt this kinda shit happen there?”
Kim replied:
“Most times, golf just doesn’t bring out the emotions like football and other sports. But at the Ryder cup, when the emotions were high, there were plenty of things said that was way over the line”
Notably, DK Metcalf’s altercation was not seen by any officials, and the American NFL star completed the game and helped his team win the matchup. In the post-round press conference, however, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin talked about the incident.
However, he said that he heard about it but had not “seen” it, and also that he did not have a chat with Metcalf, who has a net worth of $30 million (via Celebrity Net Worth). He said (via BBC):
“I heard about it, but I hadn’t seen it and I hadn’t had an opportunity to talk to DK.”
Notably, the DK Metcalf and Co. had an impressive outing this week, and they won 29-24. It was their third win in a row, and they are leading the AFC North standings. They will meet again against the Cleveland Browns.

“Had a blast at the Chargers vs Cowboys game thanks to @JaniKingClean ! AND the good guys won!”
In the Week 16 game, the Chargers had a terrific time and won their 11th game of the season. They settled in second place in the AFC West standings.
Meanwhile, Michael Kim is enjoying a break from golf these days. He had an impressive time playing on both the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour this year.
