Days of Our Lives spoilers for December 22-26, 2025 suggest Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is shocked, Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) scheming again, and the DiMeras saved.
As always on early edition day, we start with what’s coming the rest of this week, then we’ll talk about what is coming next week.
Days of our Lives Early Spoilers: Brady Comforts Rachel
So on Wednesday, December 17th, we’ve got Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) getting some comfort from Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Tate Black (Leo Howard). She’s upset about being in Bayview. Plus, Rachel may learn about her mom Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) kidnapping.
Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) questions Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), and it may be about why the heck Brady is living in the Kiriakis mansion when he’s not allowed to and if Sarah has started seeing his nephew. Brady tells Xander that yeah, he is living at the Kiriakis mansion because Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), his sober coach, invited him to. Xander’s going to be lashing out at Brady after he sees him kiss Sarah. The kiss isn’t this week, but it’s coming soon.
Kristen Flips on EJ
Kristen gets vicious with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) now that she’s awake from her crypt nap and accuses him of the kidnappings and tries to assault him. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has to get between them, and he and EJ have to calm Kristen down, but she may also be off her rocker because she’s feverish. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is worried about the family and Belle Black (Martha Madison) is there to comfort her. EJ’s going missing is a concern. Not so much because they care that he’s gone missing, but because it means that Johnny is at greater risk.
DOOL Spoilers: Kidnapping Chaos and a Shocking Return Unfold in Salem
Thursday, December 18th, Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) has upsetting news for Thomas DiMera (Christopher Cary). So, it looks like Grandma Jennifer may tell the kid that his dad Chad has been kidnapped. I wonder if that will change Thomas’s complicated feelings about his dad. Maybe he’ll find some chill about Chad.
Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) is there for Abe Carver (James Reynolds), and he’s absolutely distraught over Theo’s disappearance. Abe may low-key blame Paulina because he didn’t want Theo around the DiMeras, and Paulina encouraged Theo to take the job. Theo and Chad are wondering if they’re going to get out of the crypt alive.
And they’re discussing the life and death issues at play there. The bones may be why they’re talking about their own mortality because somebody’s there that nobody knows who they are. Kristen is sick. It looks like Theo is going to get sick as well because two of them, plus one more family member, are in the hospital by next week.
Peter Blake Recast Debuts on Days of Our Lives
Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) brainstorm with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) about the stalkery letters, and I’m sure they’re going to blame Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan) for everything. Elsewhere, bad boy Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is bonding with Jeremy. So, he may be filling in as a tutor with Leo since Abe is distracted.
Otherwise, maybe Jeremy and Leo just have a meet-cute and are commiserating because they’re both seen as bad boys. Friday, December 19th, long-unseen Peter Blake, big brother of Kristen, is the next of Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) kids to be kidnapped and dumped in the mausoleum. This is Dan Gauthier’s debut as recast Peter. The question is, of course, how long will he stay in Salem and is he the kidnapper?
Chanel’s Unexpected Pregnancy and Gabi’s Guilty Conscience on Days of Our Lives
Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) gets some disturbing test results from Sarah that are very stressful, and Chanel doesn’t need more stress right now. She decides not to tell Johnny given all the other things on his mind right now. He is very upset about EJ and other family members going missing. So, it looks like Sarah may tell Chanel that she is pregnant which is quite unexpected.
It’s high risk, it may be ill-advised, and we’ll have to wait and see if Sarah tells Chanel that this pregnancy isn’t a good idea. She had that molar pregnancy before, and every time she comes to see Sarah for more tests, she says, “No, you can’t get pregnant yet.” This is a big surprise. So, obviously unexpected, unplanned, and maybe medically inadvisable.
Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) tries to push down some guilt when she’s spending time with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). So, what I’m wondering is if she actually is somehow involved in the kidnapping. You know, she might be conspiring with somebody. I hope not. But Gabi did try and blow up Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) heart with an app.
So, don’t count her out. She had issues with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), with EJ, with Theo, you know. So, these are people on the list that she doesn’t like. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) gives Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes) some advice, and it may be her issues with Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and Leo.
A DiMera Christmas Rescue and Horton Family Holiday Drama on Days
The week of December 22nd through the 26th. Just by the way, no preemptions during Christmas week. It’s the only soap that has five new episodes during this holiday week. So, woohoo! All right. The crypt crew of Peter, Theo, Kristen, Chad, and EJ are all rescued in time for Christmas.
Everybody’s reunited with their loved ones. Chad is over at the Horton house doing family Christmas with his kids. Lani Price (Sal Stowers), Eli, and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) are all there celebrating the usual Horton family Christmas. Time for the pretty ornaments to come out with everybody’s names on them.
Xander Unwelcome for the Holidays
I’m guessing Xander’s invitation has been revoked. So, will Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) get any facetime with her dad for the holiday? Is Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) going to invite Gwen to join them at the Horton House? Even if he does, I don’t think she’ll agree. Theo, Peter, and Kristen are all going to be hospitalized when they come out of the crypt on Days of our Lives.
Now, that may be because of the bones. It may just be, you know, that they didn’t have heat, and it’s Wisconsin and it’s winter. I also wonder if she’s going to get to visit Rachel at Bayview or if her daughter might get some sort of day pass to come over to University Hospital to see her mom, Kristen.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) takes the crypt bones to the FBI lab for analysis. And it’s a shocking discovery. It may be Rafe who finds the crypt crew, by the way, because remember he said he wanted to go and open up the crypt and get into it. So, we’ll see.
Holiday Heartbreak and Schemes at Bayview Sanitarium on Days of Our Lives
Rachel is not going to like spending the holidays in Bayview away from family. So, I wonder if Sophia will distract her with more mischief-making because Rachel is sad. Obviously, Brady and Tate are going to come up to see Rachel, and they should be able to deliver good news that her mom Kristen was found.
Now, this is going to get tricky because I’m trying to remember, remind me in the comments, but I don’t think Tate knows that Rachel shot EJ. But with Kristen found, I feel like word is going to spread and Tate might be a little upset that Brady didn’t share this with him. I mean, Tate is a whole grown man and all that.
Johnny Stunned by Chanel’s Baby Bombshell
Plus, Chanel tells Johnny that she is pregnant once the kidnap crisis ends and he’s no longer worried about EJ and the other DiMera family members. Johnny is stunned. Looks a little horrified if I’m being honest.
So, he may be worried about Chanel carrying a baby and him passing his demented DiMera DNA down on it. I don’t think it’s that Johnny doesn’t want to have a kid with Chanel; it’s just he feels like his DNA is inherently evil because of EJ.
Leo and Javi get busy planning their winter wedding, and Owen Kent is going to show up in Salem soon. He’s the real creep stalking Stephanie, but he has somebody online encouraging him. That could be Jeremy.
