Francis Ngannou: “This dude is a CEREBRAL liar”

Earlier in November on the FLAGRANT podcast, Dana White leveled scathing accusations against Francis Ngannou, saying that the Cameroonian had once physically threatened him and UFC matchmaker Hunter Campbell.

However, during a recent interview with TheMacLife, White walked back those comments, something that has riled up the MMA fandom.

The UFC CEO made notable clarifications on his previous remarks, saying:

“Let me be clear on something, when I say the physicality, it’s not like Francis Ngannou came in here and threatened us or anything like that… We’re in there and he’s telling me that he deserves the $50K. I said ‘You’re not getting it.’… and I’m like ‘I’m done, I have another meeting’… So I started to walk out, and he put his hand on my chest, and he said, ‘We’re not done talking,’ and I said, ‘Oh, we’re f**king done talking.’… It’s not like Francis came in here and was like, physical. But that’s what went down.”

Suffice it to say, fight fans went not happy with White’s shift in narrative, with many taking to social media to slam the MMA promoter.

@HeadBetwixKnees pointed out:

“That is a leap, a skip, and a hop from ‘He grabbed me and Hunter by our collars.’”

@manofvalues chimed in:

“I thought Francis had suplexed Dana and choke slammed Hunter.”

@PrepNation_TV commented:

“You lied then because that’s not what you said previously!”

Francis Ngannou issues ice-cold response to Dana White’s physical assault claims

Francis Ngannou doesn’t feel the need to defend himself over Dana White’s physical assault claim. When Ariel Helwani asked ‘The Predator’ point-blank if he put his hand on White, the MMA fighter issued an ice-cold response.

Instead of defending himself or trying to clear his name, the former UFC star said:

“[I put my hands on him] In his office, that’s what he said, right? Well, I’m sure he has a lot of cameras there… If every time somebody says something about you, then you have to [respond], then it’s going to be tough. Over time, I just got tired of that stuff.” [0:24 minute mark of the interview with Helwani]
