Prasidh Krishna starred with the ball as India beat South Africa by nine wickets in the final match of a three-match series in Vizag on Saturday, December 6. After being hammered for 29 in his first three overs, the speedster bounced back to finish with figures of 4/66 in his 9.5 overs. Krishna struck twice to dismiss Matthew Breetzke and Aiden Markram in the same over before removing centurion Quinton de Kock. He then knocked over Ottneil Baartman as the Proteas were bundled out for 270 in 47.5 overs.
With his 4-fer, Prasidh Krishna also returned to form after proving expensive with the ball in the first two ODIs. Overall, he finished with seven wickets. Meanwhile, the KL Rahul-led side sealed the series 2-1.
