No Suryakumar Yadav as Mandeep Singh picks his all-time IPL XI; includes RCB legend as impact player


Former Punjab Kings (PBKS) batter Mandeep Singh picked his all-time IPL XI ahead of the 2026 auction (via Crictracker Instagram handle). The right-hander went with the legendary Indian duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as his two openers.

The latter is the all-time leader in IPL run-scoring with 8,661 runs, including a record eight centuries, in 267 outings. Meanwhile, Rohit is the second leading run-scorer in the IPL with over 7,000 runs in 272 matches.

He is also the joint-most successful IPL captain, leading the Mumbai Indians (MI) to five titles. Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Suresh Raina came in at No.3 in Mandeep’s IPL 11.

Raina is the fifth all-time leading run-scorer in the IPL with over 5,500 runs, helping CSK to four out of their five titles. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) legend AB de Villiers was at No. 4, having finished his IPL career as the eighth leading run-scorer with 5,162 runs at an average of almost 40 and a strike rate of 151.68.

The star CSK duo of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni was next on Mandeep’s team at No. 5 and 6. The former is among the most accomplished all-rounders in the IPL with 170 wickets and 3,260 runs.

Meanwhile, Dhoni is the most successful captain in the IPL in terms of wins and is the joint-most successful in terms of IPL titles with five.

Mandeep picked MI’s Hardik Pandya at No. 7, thanks to his impeccable IPL record with bat and ball. The right-hander has scored over 2,700 runs and picked up 78 wickets in 152 matches.

Mandeep Singh picks two MI legends in his all-time IPL bowling attack

Mandeep Singh picked two spinners and as many pacers to round off his all-time IPL XI. The veteran right-hander picked Rashid Khan as one of his spinners, thanks to the Afghan’s 158 wickets in 136 games.

Mandeep chose Sunil Narine as his other spinner, with the West Indian boasting an incredible 192 wickets, including a record three MVP titles.

Former MI pacer Lasith Malinga came in next, having finished his IPL career with 170 wickets and helping the franchise win four of their five IPL titles. Another MI seamer, Jasprit Bumrah, rounded off Mandeep’s all-time IPL XI, having picked up 183 wickets in 145 games and winning five IPL titles with MI.

Finally, Mandeep Singh also picked former RCB opener Chris Gayle as his Impact Sub. Gayle is the 10th leading scorer in IPL history with almost 5,000 runs, including six centuries and the highest IPL score of 175*.
