WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella recently took to social media to address John Cena’s appearance on this week’s Monday Night RAW. It was the 17-time World Champion’s final appearance on the red brand’s show.
John Cena is at the tail end of his professional wrestling career. After his appearance on this week’s RAW, Cena only has two dates left on his retirement tour. He is scheduled for the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames, where he will face Dominik Mysterio in a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. The Chain Gang Soldier will then wrestle in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
However, it seems like the Triple H-led creative team has a surprise appearance planned for The GOAT. NXT General Manager Ava recently announced that John will select participants for the Men’s and Women’s Iron Survivor Series next week at Gold Rush.
After this week’s WWE RAW, Cena’s former partner, Nikki Bella, took to her Instagram Stories to address his final appearance on the red brand’s show. A fan wrote that they were on the show because of Bella and referred to the latter as the GOAT, with John Cena’s entrance playing in the background.
The WWE Hall of Famer replied to the fan, suggesting that there were two GOATS on the show, her and Cena.
“Goat and Goat!!” she wrote.

Nikki Bella talked about shaking John Cena’s hand backstage in WWE
During an interview on the Let’s Be Honest live podcast tour in March 2025, Nikki Bella revealed that her former partner, John Cena, broke the ice between them when he shook her hand backstage in WWE.
Bella added that other female stars started teasing her after Cena shook her hand, but she asked them to be respectful as the 17-time World Champion was married.
“I was in a circle talking to people. He came to [shake] everyone’s hand. He shook my hand. But the thing was, when he walked away, all the girls were like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ I’m like, ‘Shh, shh, He’s married, be respectful.’ And that was it. That was nice. And it was great because breaking the ice, and you know, we just both happened to be back at the same time. It’s a good feeling,” she said.
Nikki Bella is currently in a heated feud with Stephanie Vaquer. It will be interesting to see if the Triple H-led creative team will put the WWE Women’s World Championship on the Hall of Famer anytime soon.
