Why is Valkyrae’s community criticizing FaZe Lacy? Streamer drama explored

Twitch and YouTube star Rachell “Valkyrae’s” online community has expressed their dissatisfaction with Nick “FaZe Lacy” for using the “R slur” (the term ‘re*ard’) during her “Sisathon” subathon. On November 12, 2025, X user @Awk20000 shared screenshots of the back-and-forth between Valkyrae and FaZe Lacy’s online communities.

Here’s what one of Valkyrae’s fans said about FaZe Lacy:

“dropping r slurs on the sis a thon stream oh pack it up… RAE COME BACK NEOW” X user @iheartvalkyrae posted.

The FaZe Clan member’s online community responded to the sentiments expressed by Valkyrae’s fanbase, with one of them writing:

“who are pogger mad at ❌nina that sa d said ❌mizkif situation ❌hassan shocking his dog ✅lacy saying re*ard they arent real humans” X user @KMpiame posted.

Cinna makes FaZe Lacy apologize for using the “r-word” on her and Valkyrae’s subathon

On November 12, 2025, a 40-second video of FaZe Lacy’s appearance in the Sisathon livestream surfaced on X, in which Britanny “Cinna” made him apologize for using the “r-word” during the Twitch stream.

Apologizing for the remarks he made, FaZe Lacy said:

“You just told me to say sorry. I’m sorry for saying that word… for saying the r-word. I was re*arded when I said it…”

Cinna replied:

“Stop doing that! I’m serious. PR trained. Go!”

FaZe Lacy continued his apology:

“I am sorry for saying that word in front of you guys. I say it when I’m not in front of you guys a lot. But I’m sorry for saying it in front of you. I need to learn my… what is it called? Social chameleon ability.”

FaZe Lacy comments on the backlash he received from Valkyrae’s online community

During an IRL livestream on November 13, 2025, FaZe Lacy commented on the backlash he received from Valkyrae and the Poggers streamer communities.

While claiming that he “felt really bad” for the 100 Thieves co-owner facing “a lot of bulls**t” for a livestream she wasn’t a part of, the 22-year-old said:

“I want to make it clear – the things I’m saying is not because… I just saw someone say, ‘You don’t need Poggers’ approval.’ It’s not… I don’t give a f**k what that community thinks. But out of respect for my friends, Cinna and Valkyrae, that is why… like, I feel really bad that Valkyrae got a lot of bulls**t for a stream she wasn’t even on. And I don’t even know if she knew I was coming, to be honest. But I don’t care what they think of me because either way, I could f**king donate $10 million to charity and cure cancer, and I can still be known as a certain dictator in history, somehow.”

As of this writing, Valkyrae has not issued a statement regarding FaZe Lacy’s most recent comments.
