2025 Super Bowl odds: Lions favored; 49ers, Texans tumble

For the second week in a row, the Detroit Lions have the shortest odds to win the Super Bowl.

After their Week 12, 24-6 win over the Colts, the Lions moved to +250 from +320.

But it was after Week 11 that Detroit moved past Kansas City to take the top spot, a position that the Chiefs had owned most of this season.

On “Speak,” co-host Keyshawn Johnson said that the Lions look like the best team in football.

“You look at just everything about them, from the coaching staff to the offense, defense, Jared Goff … across the board … it’s kinda crazy.

“No matter who you put in front of them, they putting points up on the board. This team is for real.”

Let’s check out the latest Super Bowl odds via DraftKings Sportsbook as of Nov. 26.

Should the Lions be Super Bowl favorites? & who is the MVP this season?

Second on the board are the reigning champion Chiefs. Their futures stayed put at +450 after barely escaping the Panthers 30-27.

“Despite playing below their championship standards, the Chiefs continue to find ways to win, relying on their opportunistic defense and clutch quarterback to come through when the game hangs in the balance,” FOX Sports NFL analyst Bucky Brooks wrote.

The Eagles, at +650, round out the top three. Their odds moved up the board from +700 after getting the 37-20 win over the Rams.

“Like it or not, Nick Sirianni is one of the best coaches in the league, and he has a Super Bowl team at his disposal,” Brooks wrote about a Philly team that he placed at No. 3. in his recent NFL top-10 power rankings. “Whether relying on the offense sparked by Saquon Barkley’s MVP bid or the defense led by a young trio of blue-chip players, the Eagles’ superior talent gives them a chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at season’s end. “

A team taking a huge tumble for the second week in a row is San Francisco.

The banged-up 49ers fell 38-10 to Green Bay and their Super Bowl futures plummeted to +8000 from +2200.

The Niners weren’t the only team whose odds moved down the board. The Texans also saw their odds fall.

Houston was favored by eight points over the Titans in Week 12. However, Tennessee got the upset win, defeating C.J. Stroud & Co. 32-27.

In the wake of the loss, the Texans’ odds to win the Big Game moved to +4000 from +2500.

The Commanders are another team whose odds took a hit.

Washington moved to +8000 from +4000 after losing to rival Dallas 34-26.
